Taboola is looking for a data-driven and results oriented Advertising Account Manager to build strong relationships with our Enterprise Advertising clients in Canada. The Account Manager owns the client-facing relationship post-sale and ensures superior client service through premium campaign management, relationship development, account retention, and upsell activities. The Account Manager, Canada will be the first Account Manager for Taboola’s Canadian enterprise customers, and may be based in Montreal or Toronto.
What skills and qualifications do I need?
For this role, it is essential that you have:
- BA/BS degree with strong academic record
- 5+ years in digital media or account management
- Experience mentoring Account Coordinators and/or Account Managers
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills
- Process oriented with a strict attention to detail
- Self-motivated to dig in to learn about products, technology, customers, and competitors
- Knowledge of KPI based campaign/ client management and optimization of campaigns towards hitting ROI target
- Strong knowledge of brand verification partners, Salesforce, and Ad Servers
- Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate within a high-performing team
- Proven verbal and written communication skills in a consultative, client-facing environment
- Outstanding relationship management and customer-facing skills
- Proficiency in G-Suite a plus
- The candidate is ideally bilingual in English and French.
- Willing to travel to the regional HQ in New York City, as well as regionally to be in person with customers, as required.
What will you do on a regular basis?
- Cultivating relationships with existing clients to maximize client satisfaction, retention, and drive revenue growth
- Manage the campaign launch process from start to finish, inclusive of client kick off call, strategy recommendation, asset collection, optimization and delivery of performance reporting
- Work as liaison between client and internal partners to coordinate campaign updates, upsell opportunities, and troubleshoot delivery and performance issues
- Mentor and oversee the training of Associate Account Managers on campaign set-up, reporting, and media strategy for Enterprise Brand and Agency accounts
- Deep understanding of Taboola’s entire product offering and best practices for campaign effectiveness and cross-selling
- Proactively using data, trends, market insights, and logic to develop tailored campaign recommendations and opportunities for continued success
- Book of Business (BoB) can consist of 10-15 regionally named accounts
- Tasked with supporting regional growth goal QoQ and being primary point of contact for the customer on day-to-day account needs
- Utilize Salesforce and internal Taboola systems to ensure all campaign information is updated and accurate
- Work closely with Sales Director, Canada to migrate a number of strategic former Yahoo native customers to work with Taboola
