What is the key purpose of a Senior Publisher Sales Manager, U.S. & Canada?  

As a Senior Publisher Sales Manager, U.S. & Canada working on the Publisher Sales Team, you will be responsible for pursuing, managing and processing through “close and going live”, both Mid-Sized U.S. & SMB Canadian Publisher prospects through established and creative inbound and outbound strategies. In addition to outbound strategies, the Senior Publisher Sales Manager, U.S. & Canada will also pursue his/her equitable share of inbound U.S. mid-market (TBD) publisher prospects and be responsible for the entire sales process that onboards a large number of North American ComScore 500 to 2000 level publishers in order to enhance engagement and monetize their sites. This Senior Publisher Sales Manager, U.S. & Canada role is specific to both the U.S. and Canada and therefore, requires a fluently speaking English and French candidate who can reside in either New York City or Canada.

What skills and qualifications do I need?

For this role it is essential that you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Reside in either New York CIty or Canada.
  • Speak English and French fluently.
  • Proven work experience with 5+ years selling and closing in a similar role.
  • Track record of success selling complex products in Advertising, SaaS, Technology, or related fields.
  • Demonstrate effective sales acumen and technique.
  • Demonstrate the ability to quickly absorb product information and relay value propositions to prospects and clients.
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand and navigate challenges associated with contractual agreements.

What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?

As a Senior Publisher Sales Manager, U.S. & Canada, you will be: 

  • Responsible for identifying new publisher partners by building and growing outbound relationships across both the U.S. and Canada. You’ll expertly share Taboola’s Publisher offerings and demonstrate how Taboola helps Publishers to expand upon their audience engagement while generating ad revenue. 
  • Working alongside the North American Publisher Director to meet with prospects and close business for long-term deals. 
  • Building detailed proposals for clients using projection models in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Creating engaging presentations for in-person and video conference meetings to pitch Publisher prospects. 
  • Quickly calculating “media math” on calls and in meetings in order to give prospects relevant and accurate revenue estimates. 
  • Assisting the operations team in the implementing processes, structuring integrations, and launching partners quickly and efficiently.
  • Partnering with internal Account Managers to ensure the proper launch and retention of major partnerships.
  • Partnering with Taboola’s Legal Team to overcome contractual obstacles.
