What is the key purpose of a Publisher Account Director?
As a Publisher Account Director working on the Enterprise team in New York City, you will manage and mentor a team of Account Managers, delivering exceptional customer service to well established publisher/media organizations to drive growth for our Enterprise publisher business.
What skills and qualifications do I need?
For this role it is essential that you have:
- 8+ years of client facing experience in digital media (publisher experience preferred)
- Ability to build and maintain outstanding relationships with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders
- Track record of closing business and driving long and complex sales cycles
- Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data
- General understanding of contracts and negotiation
- Excellent people management skills and experience leading a team
- Ability to travel up to 20%
What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?
As a Publisher Account Director, you will:
- Lead a team of Account Managers to deliver excellent customer service and support multiple business initiatives for existing publisher partners
- Maintain high client engagement through regular communication, demonstrating your knowledge and expertise
- Identify growth opportunities, create strategic account plans, and eliminate business obstacles
- Track and analyze performance for book of business to ensure all accounts are meeting or exceeding sales plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, legal, technical support) and leaders on projects to drive company growth

The pay range for this position in New York is $120,000 - $140,000. This role is also eligible to participate in Taboola’s commission plan under which you might be eligible for total on-target earnings of $160,000 - $180,000 in accordance with such plan. The pay and commission offered may vary depending on several factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We may offer several perks as part of the compensation package that include a discretionary bonus, equity, flexible PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, a competitive 401(k) match, paid parental leave, etc.
