Tribune Broadcasting Working Exclusively With Taboola, Personalized Content Recommendations Now Appear Across 40 Websites And 80 Mobile Apps

Taboola’s recommendations are now seamlessly integrated into local television sites/ apps including KTLA.com, PIX11.com and WGNtv.com to drive audience engagement and revenue

NEW YORK, November 20, 2014 – Taboola, the leading discovery platform, today announced an exclusive strategic partnership with Tribune Broadcasting, a subsidiary of the Tribune Media Company. Taboola’s personalized content recommendations now appear across 40 of Tribune Broadcasting’s cross-platform local television websites, including KTLA.com (Los Angeles), PIX11.com (New York), and WGNtv.com (Chicago), and in 80 of Tribune Broadcasting’s native mobile apps. Tribune Broadcasting will utilize Taboola’s technology to offer an array of additional content as well as create a new revenue stream from both sponsored and native content recommended to consumers.
