Taboola and Bloomberg Agree to Three Year Renewal

Deal Powers Discovery In Mobile Native App For First Time

NEW YORK — Taboola, the leading discovery platform, today announced a partnership extension with Bloomberg, the global business and financial information and news leader. Under the renewal, Taboola’s personalized video and editorial recommendations will continue to appear on desktop and mobile web, and will now be integrated into Bloomberg’s mobile app platform for the first time. Bloomberg currently reaches an audience of 16 million desktop visitors and 25 million mobile users each month.

“Our industry is going through a transition where it’s divided between walled gardens and the open web. Our mission and passion remains in connecting people with information they may like and never knew existed wherever they are, and partnering with publishers to drive meaningful growth around engagement, audience and monetization in the open web,” said Adam Singolda, founder and CEO at Taboola. “We are thrilled to work with the Bloomberg team, continuing to partner and innovate ways to enable Bloomberg to fulfill their mission to deliver data, news and analytics through innovative technology, quickly and accurately.”

Taboola acts as a search engine in reverse. Instead of expecting people to look for information, Taboola surfaces relevant and personalized information to people at the right time. Its predictive engine analyzes hundreds of real-time signals (including location, device type, referral source, social media trends and more) to match users with content they are most likely to be interested in consuming next, generating more than one billion moments of discovery (clicks) each month.
