Taboola Goes Hindi -- Inks Exclusive, Long-Term Deal With Jagran New Media for Multi-Platform Content Discovery Across India

Partnership Will Boost Audience Engagement and Monetization Through Taboola’s Personalized Content Recommendations in English and Hindi

NEW DELHI, February 18, 2016 – Taboola®, the world’s leading discovery platform, today announced an exclusive, multi-year agreement with Jagran New Media, the digital arm of Jagran Prakashan Limited, India’s leading media and communications group. Taboola’s personalized content recommendations will be seamlessly integrated across Jagran’s network of desktop and mobile sites to drive engagement and revenue for the publisher. The implementation will include Jagran.com (India’s leading Hindi news site), JagranJosh.com (India’s leading education site), JagranJunction.com, JagranPost.com, Onlymyhealth.com (India’s leading health portal), Mid-day.com, Naidunia.com, and iNextLive.com, and will support both Hindi and English languages.

With 30 million unique visitors each month consuming content that spans news, education, and health, Jagran is one of the top digital media platforms in the country. According to comScore, 60 percent of Jagran sites’ overall traffic derives from mobile devices.
