Sara Balaban is a former Recruiter who enjoys uncovering unique people stories and being a cheerleader in and out of the workplace. She started her career in Talent Acquisition, recruiting heavily for several corporate functions across tech, agency, and healthcare companies. She later had her "ah-ha" moment when she discovered her love of writing and the Employer Branding function and how it perfectly blended people, advocacy, creativity, and writing. Since then, she has applied her Recruiting skills and knowledge to her work in Employer Branding by partnering with Talent Acquisition teams to write people blogs, drive brand awareness, and be an overall people and company advocate. Sara is part of an adult non-profit cheerleading team in NYC that raises money and awareness for the LGBTQ+ community, and while she will always be a New Yorker, she will jump at any chance to travel and see the world.
